Magnolia House is a 400 year old home where I was born and raised for 17 years. My Grandmother and Mother lived there for 40 years until 1953 when my Grandmother died. Many great memories are still with me today as this was such a special place for me. I even started courting my future husband John while living there. We emigrated to Canada in 1964. John flew ahead in July while I followed later in November by ship with a 3 year old daughter, the family dog and pregnant with our second child seen in the picture with me. I have knitted, crocheted and sewn from my early teens as my Mother and Grandmother had before me. In about 2006, I attended a workshop for making beads from paper and decided to make necklaces for Christmas presents. This very soon blossomed into an addictive obsession with making more complicated jewelry items which are now offered for sale. My hobby takes me to many Artisan Shows and CARP Presentations in my area. We are a home based company in Coldwater and classes are available.  We teach how to make paper beads, kumihimo (Japanese weaving) and small group gettogethers.  Email whitjb1@gmail.com for information.
